Newsletter: April 2017
Dear Parents,
I hope this letter finds everyone well. Currently Grade 7 Chinese students are working on how to describe and comment on one’s clothes. They were very excited about the opportunity to try on some traditional Chinese costumes in class. Students are going to make a clothes booklet, in which students will demonstrate the various types of clothes, as well as making descriptions and comments on clothes. In addition, students are going to make a skit to discuss what to wear for a special occasion.
G7 Chinese students have been learning Chinese for over one and half years now. They are not only getting more familiar with the language at this point but are also more used to the learning pace in class. Many students are surprised at the amount of content they have learned this year and the fact that they are able to meet my high expectations now.
Once again, I would like to remind you that the event “Under Chinese Lanterns” has been rescheduled to Friday, April 28th. I cannot wait to see students’ performances and meet you at the event. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions and concerns regarding your student’s Chinese study. Thank you for your continuous support!
Please feel free to contact me if you have questions and concerns regarding your student’s Chinese study. I am always happy to schedule a meeting with you if needed. Thank you again for your continuous support.
Sincerely,
ChinHuei Yeh
