I expect students to work together in various activities and assignments to develop their ability and skills in the Chinese language.

This website will provide learning help such as useful on-line tools as well as visual and audio interactive learning activities which are aligned with our curriculum. Students can review the content by listening, viewing and playing educational games at home. I believe that the students will benefit from using the website to review what they learn on a regular basis. They will also have a lot of fun experiencing Chinese language and culture at the same time. Students can easily visit this website by clicking my name on the faculty page on the Oak School web page.
In addition, “Edmodo” will be the other tool for our classroom community to bring out more communication between students and the instructor. Edmodo is a safe tool for classroom assignments and discussions. Parents will be granted an account to access student’s work and progress through the Internet as well.
Parents are always encouraged to review the online activities of your child and to speak with teacher when questions or concerns arise. If you do not wish for your child to use one or more Internet tools for the purposes of teaching and learning, please provide written notification to me.
Please feel free to contact me through email [email protected] if you have any questions regarding any aspects in this matter.
Wish you a great beginning and a successful year.
